THE OWNER

I’ve always loved doing my own nails when I was younger. I wasn’t allowed to get my nails done until I reached 14. That rule didn’t stop me from painting my own nails & going on YouTube and learning how to make my own nail decals with zip lock bags & nail polish. I’ve always had an interest in nails, but I never imagined that I would would make and sell them. When I was 14 my mom finally allowed me to get my nails done at the salon & I was so excited. Unfortunately that excitement didn’t last too long. While my nails were getting done, my thumbs were in so much pain as if they were burning off and being the big girl that I am I fought through it, because nothing was gonna come between me and my first set of acrylics. After I got them done, I was deeply in love. Everywhere I went I was just staring at my nails, and I hated the idea of taking them off. When I do, ohhh how I hated the aftermath. My real nails were so thin, I couldn’t run them through hot water because they hurt ?!? Yeah, that was no for me and then I discovered the kiss nail kit at Walmart and I went crazy and started doing my own nails, although they didn’t look the best or last very long. I loved them. My senior year of high school I wanted to save money and I discovered press on nails and made my own nails for Prom. Since then I’ve been making press on nails. It has been trial and error trying to figure what I want to make, what do I want to do with the nails, and the vision that I see for myself. It hasn’t been an easy road for me. I stopped and I’ve doubted myself and skills and I’ve allowed myself to fall. At the end of the day I’ve realized I am who I am, this is what I want to do and I may not know exactly how I will execute it, but it will get done and everything that I desire to do shall happen. Here we are today with Neatly Pressed Nails and I personally believe that it will grow to be bigger than I’ve ever imagined.
